# I have industry blind spots — I keep gravitating toward the same sector. How do I identify other industries where I'd be a strong fit?

Start by cataloging your transferable skills at the most abstract level — not "I worked on Azure VMware" but "I have deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, customer success operations, and AI productization for large-scale B2B environments." Then, instead of thinking by industry, think by problem type: which industries have large organizations with complex infrastructure, heavy customer success needs, and AI adoption challenges? That framing opens up industries you might not have considered — financial services infrastructure, healthcare enterprise software, manufacturing tech, and others. Your CSM and coaches can help you map your skill set to industries and roles you haven't yet thought about. Also pay attention to inbound recruiter outreach even if it seems off — as one member found, AutoZone reaching out is a signal that industries like automotive retail tech are hungry for people with your skills, even if the connection isn't obvious.
