# How do I handle interviews with a company that's on a hiring freeze?

Stay in warm contact without pushing for an immediate decision. Schedule a check-in call two to three weeks out and use it to maintain the relationship. If it's an AI-focused role or team, there's often budget allocated even when other parts of the company are frozen. Ask your CSM whether PCA has any intel on that company's current hiring status through other members or contacts.
